House Rules

Rose Cottage is designed for 2 people and has one king size bed.

Bumblebee is designed for upto 4 people and has 2 x king size beds.

Due to fire safety and insurance, only people named on the booking are permitted to stay over-night.

Due to having a lake in the grounds and bordering a river, regrettably, we do not allow children under 14.

Guests are allowed to bring a well behaved dog to stay with them in our larger Rose cottage, provided they are kept on a lead within the grounds of the estate due to the animals on the grounds.

However due to the layout of Bumblebee Cottage, unfortunately, we can’t allow pets in this Cottage.

During the holiday season, bookings tend to be back to back, therefore we do have to allow sufficient time between check-out and check-in times for professional cleaning.

Check-in is from 4pm – 7pm – we appreciate with traffic, this may not always be possible, but please contact us if it is going to be outside of these times so we can ensure we are available

Check-out is 10am

Parties – We are very sorry, but we do not allow parties as we have to respect other guests staying.

Additional Guests – We fully appreciate that you may have friends or relations living locally and they may want to visit during the day throughout your stay and this is of course fine, we just ask that they also follow the house rules.

The Cottages are professionally cleaned prior to each stay and for guests staying for 7 nights or more, we offer weekly cleaning
